12/25/2023 0 Comments Tesla wall connector cable length![]() You can get a different adapter, like NEMA 14-50 adapter (The NEMA 14-50 outlet is the most popular outlet for electric car chargers and most electric car chargers come with the NEMA 14-50 plug). If you only drive 10, 20 miles, maybe 30 miles a day, this might be enough, but it still might be inconvenient. The 120-volt plug could be used at a regular household outlet (110V in the US), but the charger charges very slowly, maybe four miles of range per hour. Tesla used to include a NEMA 14-50 240-volt adapter with their mobile charging connector, but they only give you the 120-volt adapter now. Tesla designs this so that you can use different adapters for different plugs. If you get a Standard Range Plus Model 3 and use a wall charger to charge your car, it won’t get any faster than the mobile charger does. They will probably be released in the near future. Tesla hasn’t allowed us to use any of these smart charging features yet. There’ll be firmware updates over the air and the wall charger will also be able to communicate with other Tesla products. They’re also promising that we’ll be able to have remote monitoring. By the morning, you’ll have two nicely charged cars. When you have one car fully charged, the other one will immediately start to charge. The two wall connectors will intelligently communicate with each other and distribute the power. Load sharing is also a very good feature to have if you have two chargers in the garage and want to run one circuit. If you want to have a bunch of chargers set up, and you don’t want to run a circuit for each one, which gets very expensive, having the ability to load share across multiple units is definitely a good feature to have and it saves money. That’d be good for apartment buildings, condo complexes, areas where multiple residents live. It’s probably going to be a smart charger, which is going to be able to load share to up to 16 units. ![]() While it is Wi-Fi connected, Tesla hasn’t really released any of the features yet. The wall charger Gen 3 is Wi-Fi connected. ![]()

12/25/2023 0 Comments Stream davis vs cruz![]() Slashing right hook from Davis early, back to the straight left. He’s showing his speed late in this round. Davis throws a hard right hook and then scampers away. Tank’s been warned a couple times by Thomas Taylor for wrestling a bit. That straight left really is his best shot tonight. Bernstein notes that’s been better for him tonight than the uppercut. Cruz 10-9, 38-38ĭavis lands a straight left. Davis with a tidy finish to the round but I thought Cruz won too much of this one. I mean, he might get it, but this reminds me a bit of when Donaire got TOO into his left hook and neglected so much else. Davis is in love with that uppercut, he wants the KO on that so bad. Davis looking at least mildly annoyed or frustrated. Davis 10-9, 29-28Ĭruz still definitely having some success, and having a good first half of this round. If that’s enough for a judge, Cruz is winning for that judge, because Davis isn’t doing anything sensational here or anything. Davis landing shots here and there, Cruz is pushing the tempo. Both are throwing bombs, not landing them clean but the intention is there on both sides. Davis seems to be having at least a little trouble being the taller fighter for once, he’s just not used to it. Davis 10-9, 19-19Ĭruz is not afraid of Davis but he’s not being stupid, either. Cruz with another shot that gets Davis’ attention a bit, Tank can’t ignore this dude and isn’t. Davis with a straight left, off the glove. They’re also keeping Cruz from doing near as much as he did in the first round, Cruz knows they’re dangerous as hell. Davis looking for those uppercuts, throwing with both hands. Cruz 10-9ĭavis moving, but looks more like he’s looking for an opening to throw instead of just “downloading data,” a thing I wish no one had ever said because now it’s said every third fight on TV. Cruz slips late in the round, not a knockdown. Davis shoots the left uppercut to the body. ![]() Oh big shot from Cruz and Davis is hurt a bit on a right hand! Not bad, but he felt it. Cruz misses a lunging hook, Davis misses a counter but comes back with a good left uppercut. There are Cruz fans here, too, which is probably no big surprise. Cruz pushes him back with a little right hand. Cruz definitely coming forward like he always does, he’s not throwing any stylistic curveballs. I'm pretty pleased with what we came up with. This is 6.The first 100 days of school have become a big deal! My kindergartener was tasked with creating a 100 days of school shirt to celebrate the day and we racked our brain for a cool 100 days t shirt idea. Shown here with the one thing she asked Santa for – a unicorn stuffed animal. Now my girl is ready to rock her 100 days of school t-shirt she had a hand in creating to celebrate this the milestone 100 days of school! There was very little bleeding under the stencil, but not much.Īfter 72 hours dry time (recommended by the manufacturer), I added the “100 Days Brighter” iron on vinyl phrase using my heat press. ![]() She loved that she got to paint this herself! Since this is a rainbow design, she painted the out first outer row in Bright Coral then Pineapple, Tangerine, Bright Avocado then Ocean Blue, all using a different brush. As these holes were so small, she went with a paint brush, but typically I would use a foam brush for this technique. This will help keep the stencil down and prevent bleeding under it. Insert a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to prevent the paint from bleeding to the back.Īpply paint to your t-shirt in an up and down motion, not a back and forth painting motion. When it comes to painting, first cover your table surface. Use your iron to heat set this freezer paper stencil in place. To adhere, lay the shiny side of the freezer paper stencil centered on the front of the shirt. Tip: make sure to adjust your machine settings to iron on and to mirror your cut! Next I cut the “100 days brighter” words from iron on glitter vinyl. Tip: Santa brought me one of these little Tweexy nail polish holders which actually doubles as a wearable trash bin when weeding! I’m was able to easily grab all those little circles and get them off my weeding tool by plopping them into this little ring. Place your freezer paper on the mat with the shiny side down and send the file to cut. To create the freezer paper stencil, which is just the arch of dots, set your Cricut to the lowest material setting if it’s an Explore Air 2 or select “Freezer Paper” if it’s a Maker. This will give us some wiggle room around the edge of our design to prevent any painting mistakes! Highlight the whole rainbow, right click and choose “attach.” Before going to cut, move the whole design to the center of your screen, as seen above. But since we are actually using the negative of the freezer paper to make a stencil, we’ll need to keep the arch design together. ![]() Typically the Cricut machine will try to conserve your material and treat each cut as it’s own shape, independent of what’s next to it. I chose to put my freezer paper design in purple and my “100 Days Brighter” design, which will be cut from vinyl, in black so the machine didn’t try and cut them on one mat. Fabric Paint (we used Deco Art’s SoSoft brand)įirst, upload the SVG file in the Cricut Design Space.100 Days Brighter SVG file ( download for free).Freezer Paper ( I bought mine at Walmart).I remembered how much fun she had painting our DIY summer t-shirts earlier this year so over Christmas break she got to work making her 100 days of school t-shirt using the same Déco Art SoSoft Fabric paints and a freezer paper stencil. Creating DIY t-shirts has been a popular pastime in my house, especially now that I have 2 Cricut machines, but I wanted to make something that she could get involved in. While Brielle’s kindergarten class didn’t do anything special for the day, I think the first grade does. ![]() In New Jersey the 100th day of school is sometime in early February. Some households will be on a set rate for power all day (a single-use tariff), others will pay different amounts based on the time (time of use tariff). The key numbers you need to look out for are how much you’re being paid by the grid for your excess solar energy (your solar feed-in tariff), and how much you pay for electricity in the evening. Let’s examine some basic calculations to help you determine if investing in a home battery is financially viable. ![]() So should I be thinking about getting one? ![]() Some home batteries now have warranties for 15 years. In climates up to 40C, the study expects 12-14 years. But technology improves quickly, and a study published in 2020 in the journal Energies says in moderate climates (20-32C) with daily use, lithium-ion home batteries should last 14-16 years. Home battery reliability has improved In 2016, the Canberra Battery Test Centre painted a dismal picture of home reliability, with only two of 26 home batteries tested being fault-free. It involves giving up control of your battery to someone else, but you can earn hundreds of dollars a year by doing so. VPPs have appeared Virtual power plants have sprung up, allowing homeowners to support the grid by charging and discharging at critical times, and getting paid to do it. Solar owners who were enjoying more than $0.20 for each kWh of exported solar are now seeing feed-in tariffs closer to $0.07, reducing the financial benefit of exporting excess solar during the day. A rebate for landlords to encourage reconfiguration of their switchboard to accept a renter’s battery would help here.)įeed-in tariffs have dropped The rates at which you’re paid for feeding excess solar energy back into the grid have dropped significantly over the last two years. (As an aside, these super off-peak daytime rates open up the possibility of renters being able to use a battery in their home even without solar panels. In South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland, you can even get a super off-peak rate during the day to top up your battery from the grid for as little as $0.08 a kWh, helping ensure your battery gets fully charged even on overcast days. Sign up for Guardian Australia’s free morning and afternoon email newsletters for your daily news roundup This will significantly shorten the payback period of a home battery if you can ride through the pricey evening peak on battery power. Evening prices are often 10 times higher than during the day – making battery-stored energy much more valuable than it used to be. The mass adoption of solar has reduced daytime wholesale prices, but generators now charge more in the evenings. ![]() This means stored solar energy used after sunset can reduce emissions more than solar used during the day.Įlectricity costs have risen Not only have power prices risen, they also fluctuate more throughout the day. There are now so many panels on Australian roofs that solar farms will often curtail their output on sunny days as prices turn negative. Solar adoption has rocketed Solar panel use has soared, with seven times more rooftop solar capacity now than in 2015 and the pace of new installations speeding up dramatically since 2019. ![]() 12/25/2023 0 Comments Tim and eric chrimbus special![]() The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ( 1 episode) as Self Dracula: Behind The Truth as Tim Heidecker Jeff & Some Aliens ( 1 episode) as Bruce Starr (voice)ĭecker: Unclassified as Special Agent Jack Deckerĭecker Vs. Importance of Luminous Flux in Linear Lighting On the other hand, large-scale lighting fixtures used in stadiums can produce tens of thousands of lumens, illuminating vast spaces with bright, clear light. Small decorative lights might only emit a few lumens, creating soft, ambient lighting. Light fixtures, too, can exhibit a broad range of luminous flux values. In contrast, LEDs, known for their energy efficiency, can provide a significantly higher luminous flux for the same power consumption, making them a more effective choice for many lighting applications. For instance, traditional incandescent bulbs have a relatively low luminous flux due to their inefficient conversion of electrical energy into visible light. The luminous flux can vary widely across different light sources, from incandescent bulbs and fluorescents to LEDs. Luminous Flux across Different Light Sources This adaptability allows us to use luminous flux as a tool for evaluating the effectiveness of different light sources and lighting designs. Depending on the lighting application, it can be gauged per lamp, per fixture, per linear meter, or per square meter. However, the concept of luminous flux isn't confined to the brightness of a light source alone. In SI units, luminous flux is quantified in lumens (lm). It gauges the energy emitted as visible light, providing an understanding of the 'brightness' or 'light output' a source produces. This article aims to delve into the concept of luminous flux, its role in different lighting applications, and how to choose the right lighting solutions based on this parameter.Īt its core, luminous flux is a measure of the total quantity of visible light emitted by a light source. Among these elements, one that stands a critical role is 'luminous flux.' This measure of brightness, often overlooked, is integral to understanding and utilizing light effectively. To appreciate the nuances of lighting design, it's essential to understand the various factors that affect how light interacts with space. ![]() 12/25/2023 0 Comments Kobo app for windows 8.1![]() In February 2013, ZDNet writer Mary Jo Foley disclosed potential rumors about "Blue", the codename for a wave of planned updates across several Microsoft products and services, including Windows 8, Windows Phone 8,, and SkyDrive.
